Which tilapia broodstock strains do you supply?

Two proprietary strains: Giant Black (Nile tilapia) and Giant Red. Both come from PC Farm Thailand's 40-year selective-breeding program and are bred only at PC Farm.

How is the broodstock selected?

Every fingerling in the breeding program receives a microchip implant, so growth and performance are tracked individually across generations. AI systems analyse the data and make genetic selection faster and more accurate. Selection targets growth rate, body shape, environmental resistance and disease tolerance, and candidates are validated in earthen ponds, cages and RAS.

Who buys PC Farm broodstock?

Hatcheries and large grow-out farms that want to produce their own fry, as well as government and research institutions. Our strains are used in Thailand's national breeding program run with the Department of Fisheries.

Can broodstock be exported?

Broodstock enquiries are handled case by case. Tell us your country and intended use and we will confirm availability and the documents required.

What is the minimum order and the price?

Both depend on the strain, quantity and destination. Broodstock is quoted per order — in THB within Thailand and in USD for export. Contact us for a quote.
